About Heilman's Nuts & Confections

Heilman's Nuts and Confections has an assortment of gourmet nuts, delicious chocolates, candy and more! Stop in for a treat for yourself or a gift basket!

At Heilman's we carry many different kinds of nuts. In cooking our nuts we only use the finest nutmeats. Each batch of our nuts is freshly roasted in cholesterol-free corn oil, and is lightly salted according to our secret recipes. Whether we are cooking, roasting, or packaging, each product that is served at Heilman's is cared for during preparation and presented with perfection. The Heilman business began as a family business, not just among the owners and their children, but also extended to the devoted employees and friends, and will continue that way.

Before you go

Ask about allergens when you order: US food law names nine major allergens (milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy and sesame), and kitchens can tell you which dishes contain them.
Restaurant inspection results are kept by the city or county health department; many publish them online or post the latest grade at the door.
For table service a tip of 15–20% is customary; at counter-service places tipping is optional.

Great service, Exceptional pricing, And a great place to get gifts for corporate customers Or Family members who are tough to buy for. Truly impressed by the selection, something for everyone!

This is NOT the same company that was once a Kalamazoo tradition for many years. I ordered a gift to be shipped to a friend for his birthday on April 22. I did this in person at the Kalamazoo store. It took them ONE WEEK to process and ship the order. My friend DID receive his birthday gift, though. On May 3rd. Yay, Heilman’s! It was just a week late.

I have tried the cashews twice since the new owners have taken over...definitely not what they used to be. Prior they were deliciously roasted and salted, no longer the same. Bought multiple boxes as Christmas presents for years but they're not worth the cost anymore. I called the place and they did offer to replace them, I didn't expect them to replace 6 boxes of cashews. So I kept the original boxes and made another trip. Same thing, quality has gone down, cashews were not roasted to a nice golden color bursting with flavor. If I were you I'd get the previous owners to teach me how they roasted their nuts in house. Have called to no avail. My wife visited yesterday and left you my number. You're charging $23 for $15 cashews. They're nowhere near what once was Heilman Nuts. You have chosen to cheapen your quality of product or don't understand how to roast cashews to a golden brown. Same with the pecans. No need to bother calling or refunding...obviously you don't understand what a treasure the store once was.

Used to love this place but recent changes make it not worth going to. When ordering specificity small seafoam (since it was a gift) they didn't mention not having any. I only found out when I got home. Which my grandmother cannot eat big pieces. Also, prices have changed on the chocolate as well. The seafoam, for a pound, is now $25.

Wow this team blew me away! They made a beautiful basket for my mom and went above and beyond to make sure it arrived to her. They truly went out of their way to make this a great experience and I will absolutely come back to them again!
